Proving Funds for a Visa Application
How to present bank statements and financial evidence so the case officer can follow your funding story without guesswork.
6 min read
Financial evidence should show that you can pay for the trip and that the money is genuinely available to you. Sudden unexplained deposits often raise more questions than they answer.
Most destinations prefer recent bank statements covering a continuous period, ideally with your name and account details visible. If someone else is funding the trip, include their statements and a signed letter explaining the relationship.
Currency conversions, large cash deposits and third-party transfers should be explained in plain language. Your assigned Alif Visa agent can flag gaps before you submit.
